Draft / blocked — do not merge yet. Staged ready-to-fire follow-up for modern-di-aiohttp, gated on the repo going public.

The brand mark + assets already shipped (#31). This covers only the three deferred public surfaces, which can't be applied until github.com/modern-python/modern-di-aiohttp exists and the package is on PyPI (today: repo 404, PyPI 404 — badges/links would 404 and gh repo edit would fail).

What this PR currently contains

Just the staged change bundle planning/changes/2026-07-02.04-aiohttp-surfaces/change.md with the exact, copy-paste-ready content:

  • Profile README DI row (current post-Profile README: Stars column, drop version + Context7 badges #30 4-column format: Stars + Downloads).
  • Docs DI bullet + "The stack" sentence (…Starlette, aiohttp, FastStream, and Typer).
  • GitHub repo settings (description / homepage / six topics) as read-then-diff gh commands.
  • Precondition gate + post-publish verification (incl. the pepy Downloads lag caveat).

To fire (when the repo is public)

Run the precondition check, apply the four edits onto this branch, verify, then mark ready for review. Canonical one-liner: modern-di integration for aiohttp.

Ready-to-fire change (profile row + docs bullet + stack sentence + GitHub
settings) with exact strings in the current post-#30 table format. Blocked
until the repo is public / on PyPI; not merged until then.

…ng PyPI

Repo went public before PyPI publish. Homepage + topics set (description
already canonical). Profile row + docs listing held until the package is on
PyPI to avoid advertising an uninstallable package / broken Downloads badge.

Update: repo is now public. GitHub repo settings applied (homepage https://modern-di.modern-python.org + topics python, dependency-injection, di, ioc-container, modern-di, aiohttp; description was already canonical).

The profile README row + docs listing remain held: the package is not on PyPI yet (/pypi/modern-di-aiohttp/json → 404), so the pepy Downloads badge would 404 and the package isn't pip-installable. Fire the remaining edits once it's on PyPI.

Add the DI-table row, docs DI bullet, and stack-sentence mention (after
Starlette). Shipped ahead of PyPI per maintainer decision; the pepy Downloads
badge will 404 until the package is published and pepy indexes it.

Order the Dependency injection integrations alphabetically across the profile
table, docs DI list, and MANIFEST (modern-di first, that-depends last). aiohttp
lands in its alphabetical slot; future integrations slot in without an
insertion-point decision. No asset changes (render order is cosmetic).
